Accessibility
Updated 16 September 2026
Myrenget AS wants bergenstandup.no to work for everyone, however you read, navigate or listen to content. The site is meant to follow the Norwegian regulation on universal design of ICT, and we aim for WCAG 2.1 level AA.
This is a voluntary statement. The site is run by a private company, and private companies cannot publish statements on uustatus.no, the Norwegian public-sector accessibility register. The universal design requirements still apply.
Status
The site was last reviewed in September 2026. The public pages were tested automatically with axe-core against WCAG 2.1 A and AA at phone and desktop widths, in both languages, and with the menu and the newsletter dialog open. Contrast, keyboard use, headings, forms and link text were also reviewed by hand.
The automated test found no violations. Contrast shortfalls on placeholder text, small labels and form borders were fixed in the same review.
Known limitations
We are aware of these limitations and why they exist:
- Show posters and titles come from organisers and ticket providers. Text inside posters is not always described, and some titles are in a different language from the page.
- Ticket purchases happen on external ticket providers' sites, and voluntary contributions are paid through Stripe. We do not control the accessibility of those pages.
- The calendar shows one month at a time. Days with shows are links; the arrows change month. The same content is available as a list under Shows.
- The newsletter dialog may open by itself after about 20 seconds on listing pages. Close it with Escape or the close button, and it will not reopen in the same tab.
Feedback and complaints
If something does not work with a screen reader, keyboard, magnification or other assistive technology, we would like to know. Please tell us which page it concerns and what device or software you use.
The Norwegian Authority for Universal Design of ICT (Uutilsynet) supervises compliance. The Anti-Discrimination Tribunal (Diskrimineringsnemnda) handles complaints about lack of universal design.
